Hi! I'm Christine, a Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Second Nature Speech & Language.

I completed my Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta in 2013. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, and both public and private practice. I love the variety that being an SLP offers and enjoy working with people of all ages. I’m a bit of a lifelong learner and genuinely enjoy taking courses and learning new approaches, so I'm always looking for ways to provide the best, evidence-based care possible.

One of my favourite parts of my job is helping people feel more confident with communicating. I work with children, teens, and adults in areas including speech and language delays, brain injury, cognitive-communication disorders, stuttering, voice therapy, and accent modification training. I also love working with teens and adults to strengthen their professional and social communication skills. Whatever area I am working in, my goal is always the same - to help people communicate with confidence while still feeling like themselves.

I'm so grateful to have my office at Turtle Cove Collective, where I'm surrounded by other caring professionals who share a holistic approach to supporting health and well-being. It's a warm, welcoming space, and I love being able to offer therapy in such a cozy environment.

If you'd like to learn more about me or my practice, visit www.secondnatureslp.ca, or feel free to call or email. Looking forward to hearing from you!
